St. Gregory the Great Grand Auction has been a school tradition since 1993. This fundraiser event allows the parents of our school as well as our parish members to mingle and party at a dinner auction while having the opportunity to raise funds for our school and parish. These improvements have included security upgrades, Interactive Learning Center, Playground Enhancements, and improvements to the Parish Center, Rectory, and Church. Additionally, the event has enabled us to keep our technology up-to-date by upgrading and buying Clear Touch Screens for classrooms, repairing damages of past hurricanes, and providing a new roof for our school. This event has also contributed to our Endowment Scholarship Fund.

What to Expect

Every year a group of wonderful volunteers works together on every aspect of this event. All school families receive an invitation to the Auction. The night of the event you can enjoy a cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction and a presentation. Remember that your night of fun is benefiting our students and future generations at St. Gregory the Great Church and School. Each school family is asked to participate in the Grand Raffle by purchasing one of three ticket options. 

One way you can participate is by donating items for the silent and or live auction. Some ideas are: donating gift cards to your favorite restaurants, donating a vacation week at a villa or timeshare you own, donating gift certificates for services, or airline tickets to a getaway spot you like to go to every year. These are great tax-deductible gifts. Donations count towards service hours.  All contributions are greatly appreciated.


Sponsorships are another important aspect of our Auction. There are opportunities at many levels. Please review our flyer for more information.


Our fundraisers provide for many things in our school and parish that we could otherwise not afford. Over the years, the themes have changed but the message has always remained the same: “For the Love of Our Children.” Our chair people, their committees, volunteers and all of our wonderful donors are called to action for one reason - the love of our children. We have been blessed with outstanding support throughout the history of St. Gregory and we continue to need the support of everyone. The Walk-a-thon, Grand Auction and Annual Golf Tournament are the foundation of our fundraising. We pray for the continuing success of our school, we pray for the fulfillment of our children’s dreams, and we pray for the positive impact they have in our changing world. Much effort and support surrounds these events, and, as you would expect, it takes months of preparation from many people – but we are the Crusaders and we know that all of our efforts are worth it!






St. Gregory the Great Walk-a-thon has been a school tradition since 1992. This fundraising event allows the children to make a visible contribution to their school while having fun. The Walk-a-thon encourages all families to be part of our wonderful community while raising funds to improve their school. These funds were used for different projects around the school.

Enhancements include: state of the art computer equipment, library renovation, security system, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) lab upgrades, and playground renovations including artificial turf, mulch, borders, and enhancing the sand volleyball courts.


What to Expect

Every year a group of wonderful volunteers work together on every aspect of this event. On Kick Off Day each family receives a packet with instructions on how to go about collecting donations. We accept donations online. Families will also be able to print and mail sponsor sheets with a bar code specific to their student. There are many incentives and prizes associated with full participation when reaching their goal by the due dates. Included in the packet is information about the many different Giving Opportunities available to contribute in support and help offset the costs of the event.  Usually on the Day of the Event, students and participating family members walk around a circuit in the school parking lot and enjoy a fun day full of different activities. Volunteers are the most integral part of our success. Be a part of it! 






St. Gregory the Great Golf Tournament has been a school tradition since 1993. This fundraising event allows the parish members to mingle and enjoy a fun day on the green. The Golf Tournament funds are used to augment The Gregorian Fund. These funds assist worthy candidates to receive a Christian education that they might otherwise miss out on because of financial reasons. We open the doors for these students, and we are helping bridge the gap between true tuition costs and tuition. The accomplishments of our students and the school's record of achievements are due to your financial support.

What to Expect

All golfers will receive: luncheon & beverages throughout the tournament, dinner with 2 complimentary cocktails, a goody bag with golf towel, balls, and more. Schedule is as follows: 11:30 a.m. Registration, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lunch & Contests, 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start with Awards & Buffet at 5:30 p.m. Please help us by being one of our Major Sponsors.
